In the Knox Co. 1820 Census
2 FWM 10-15
1 FWM 16-18
3 FWM 16-25
1 FWM 45- over Samuel Gregg- Father
1 FWF 10-15
1 FWF 26-44
1 FWF 45-over Ann Sinclair-Mother
8 children in 1820----
1 engaged in Manufacturing Wagons and Carriages
In this census they have 8 children. Six males and two females.
In my FTM I have seven males Lot, Asa, William,Phinias, Eli, Isreal and David. Four females, Ann, Martha, Tacy, and Sarah. That amounts to eleven. One article said they had a total of ten children and only two lived. Asa and Tacy.I wish I had dates but I don't.
Another article said they moved to Ohio with Six Children in the 1798-1802 timeframe and five more were born in Belmont Co. That makes eleven.
To me Lot F. Gregg is the one who doesn't fit in. More than likely a brother to Asa.He may be their child.
It is all very confusing. I am looking for someone who has definate proff of the children, all or one at a time. Anything will help.
I have lots of information on most of Asa's children if anyone needs it contact me. I love to share.
