Pg 124: Listing of purchasers of Fourth Liberty Loans/Bonds from the Town of Shafer; Frank J. Ogren. Pg 126: (Same as above but)from the Town of Franconia; Herman Ogren, Walter Ogren. From book "Chisago County Minnesota in the World War(WW1)" published by The Chisago County War History Committee- March 1920. Sorry there were NO pics with these listings. But this is validation of other proofs you may have of where they lived & at what time frames. Might help with a time line for further research. There are pics (and family info too) of many Chisago County Soldiers of that war. Nice excerpt on the The Herman Ogren family biography. To much for me to take in all at once---and with my busy life right now---will read it more when I get back to this surname listing again. RE: Church mentioned in last lines of your post--- I think I remember waking up seeing that church across the lake, from the 3 season porch of my brothers home in Center City---whenever I get to MN to visit. ********Beautiful church both Day & Night.****** Great to wake up to each morning!!! and peaceful to fall asleep with at night!!!
