I was able to find some more on that.
Daily Boston Globe - Oct 8, 1945
Mother Takes Lives of Two Children, Kills Self at Milan, NH
Oct 7 AP
An overdose of sleeping powder was ascribed today as the cause of death of Mrs Ellen Marie Clement 23, and her two children Donald 4, and Anna Louise 6. Dr Beaudoin coroner and Dr Pulsifer attending physician, both of Berlin, said the woman apparently had given the fatal dose to the children and then had taken her own life in the same manner. Mrs Clement, wife of Pvt John Clement stationed at Camp Gordon Ga, died last night at her home, soon after she and the children had been found by her father Dewey Hodgdon with whom they lived.
