Margaret Hockman Oatney, 95, of Lancaster, passed away Monday, April 19, 2004, at Crestview Nursing Center. She was a member of Pleasantville United Methodist Church for more than 65 years, Pleasant Grange 1615, Pomona Grange 1, Farm Bureau Association and Amanda Lions Auxiliary. She is survived by her sisters, Mildred Durbin of Archbold and Lola Beelman of Winter Park, Fla.; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Harold L. Oatney; brothers, Orla and Charles Hockman; and parents, James H. and Emily J. Hockman. Services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at Halteman-Fett & Dyer Funeral Home with the Rev. Jeffery Jewell officiating. Burial will follow in Maple Grove Cemetery. Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Pleasantville United Methodist Church or American Heart Association.
