Thanks so much for your reply. I should have made myself a little more clear. What I am looking for is IF the Abram Merritt who enlisted into the Co C of Reg't 124th IS the SAME Abram Merritt as you replied with. Because Abram P. L. Merritt is in fact my great great grandfather.
