I've just started working on "Cousin" A. and my Anson L. BENJAMIN b. ca 1818 in New York line so my research below is a rough draft. Do you know the first names of Mr. LOCKWOOD and Mr. HAIGHT below? Permelia or Pamelia b. ca 1778 in MA [Massachusetts], and she was a widow in 1860 living in Westmoreland, Oneida Co., NY, next door to Anson BENJAMIN and family. * 2nd generation Anson L. BENJAMIN b. ca 1818 in New York m. Cynthia Jane LEONARD b. 2 July 1827 possibly in Oswego Co., NY, and they had children: ~Amanda W. [Mandly] BENJAMIN, b. Sept. 3, 1849, d. Oct. 16, 1869, ~Merritt A. BENJAMIN, b. Sept. 19, 1851 Westmoreland, Oneida Co., NY, ~Maria J. or Antionette BENJAMIN, m. Clarence Clifton POTTER [1854-1940], d. Jan. 29, 1918 Spokane, Spokane Co., WA, ~Rosella U. BENJAMIN, b. Aug. 9, 1856 Westmoreland, Oneida Co., NY, m. Mr HAIGHT, ~Frederick L. BENJAMIN, b. May 13, 1858 Westmoreland, Oneida, NY [see below] m. Mary M., ~Mary J. BENJAMIN, b. July 24, 1860, m. Mr. LOCKWOOD near Utica, Oneida Co., NY and ~William A. BENJAMIN, possibly b.
