Some oral family history talks about a Hunts Point in Cayuga Co., NY. According to the US department of the interior, Geographic names information system, the only Hunts Point, NY is located in present day Bronx, NY. I searched for varriants of the name in Cayuga, Onondaga and Wayne Co., and it turned up nothing. Does anyone know where this Hunts Point is? Could it be somewhere near Sodus Bay?
