Trying to establish son and father relationship between SIMEON SWEET, enlisted as Private in Union Army at Williamson, NY, Aug. 22, 1862 at age 18, so therefore born 1844. He was wounded, but survived... And, WINTHROP G. SWEET, b. Dec. 20, 1813, possibly in Sodus, son of Benjamin J. Sweet and Lovina Graham. Winthrop was living in Williamson, which is about 8 miles west of Sodus, in 1860, according to the US census. He was also listed as a farmer living in Williamson in an 1867 Wayne County, NY Business Directory. Can someone confirm this relationship, or add siblings and mother? Loren Michael |
