WILLIAM A. (?ALONSON?) DEAN was supposedly b. in Wayne Co., NY 3 April 1834 or 1837. Have no knowledge of his parents or siblings. He res. Tompkins Co. c. 1852 where he m. MARY ANN PATTERSON Dec. 1851. Served as SGT. in 75th NYV, Co "C", was wounded twice & returned to Ithaca, NY area where he died Feb. 1877 in the Poor House (haven't been able to locate their records.) Any inf. would be appreciated. Thanks.
