It occurs to me that the Seeley family were very prominent in Fairfield County, CT. Robert Seeley, Lt in the Pequot War, was in Watertown, MA 1631-34, the Wethersfield, CT 1635 and New Haven 1639, then to Huntington, LI 1662. His descendants were in Fairfield and Stratford, CT. See Donald Lines Jacobus, The Families of Old Fairfield, 1930 I:524-534. Not sure if you connect with these folks, but many of the people who settled Sullivan after the RW were from CT. My folks were from Stamford and were in Neversink and Fallsburgh.
