I am looking for information on WELCOME PALMER BROWN..born in Otsego County c.1811/1812...I have no exact date, no names of parents, no township name. i am not sure if his legal first name was Welcome, but that is the name he went by during his career - Welcome P. Brown or Welcome Palmer Brown. His father died when he was young, and he may have been raised by 3 aunts. He attended Bridgewater Academy, became a lawyer in his early 20 and moved to Illinois around 1833. He married Hannah carey Barney on 1838. He was the first judge in Woodford County Illinois and was an associate of Abraham Lincoln. I am trying to find his parents names, exact date of birth, and town where he was born. If anyone has any info I would greatly apprecitate it. thank you...
