My ggg-grandfather Barney Roney/Rooney imm to Gaines NY with his wife Elizabeth (Forney) and two boys one of which was my gg-grandfather. They had several children in Gaines and moved to Hudson MI about 1846. Any chance anyone can advise how to research further or find out how they came to the US? Was in Gaines two years ago and found very little help. Thanks Don Campbell dcjefe@aol.com
