Some time between Jan 1920 and 1923, my great-uncle Christoph Kowalewsky's wife, Betty, drowned herself and their child, Ibert, born 1916. They lived in Utica and he sold farm implements. The spelling of the name may vary a bit; he came from Nuremberg, Germany, in 1911, and she arrived from Germany in 1914. I have checked what vital records I can find online but come up with nothing more about this family. Anyone have any thoughts?
