Wm Sanford and Abigail Simmons are also my gr gr gr gr gr grandparents. I am wondering if you ever found the cemetery in Madison, NY? If not, it's on my list to search when the weather allows in the spring as I live not too far from Madison. Also, my connection comes as follows: My gr gr grandfather (John H Vickery) married Emily Thomson, daughter of Jerusha Peckham Thomson, daughter of Prudence Thomson Sanford, daughter of Wm and Abigail Simmons. Might you have any information on any of these individuals, particularly John H. Vickery, son of Samuel Vickery, son of Abner Vickery? Just thought I'd check. Emily died quite young (~27 yo), leaving one son (Charles). I'm trying to find her grave, as well, because she also died in Madison. John H. Vickery then enlisted in the Civil War and died of dysentery after being wounded. Thanks for any info. Connie Vickery
