The Chariton Leader, Chariton, Iowa Thursday, July 16, 1908 JACOB BREMER was born in Jefferson County, New York, Aug. 26, 1824. On Feb. 15, 1850 he was married to ABIGAIL HOXIE, and to them were born four children, MRS. SEWARD of Dakota, MRS. MORRIS of Hopkins, Mo., N.M. BREMER of Derby, and NORA G., who still lived at home. His wife and four children survive him. He moved to Lucas County, Ia., in the spring of 1869, where he has since lived. On July 13, 1908, at his home near Derby, the grim reaper made his appearance. MR. BREMER was 83 years, 10 months and 17 days old at his death ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ MR. and MRS. BREMER desire to thank all who so kindly assisted at the death of MR.
