Your Querie caught my eye, when you said that her father was in the military, and I remember seeing a James Parker on the Fonda Revolutionary list, so I took a look and found

James Parker b. Sept 20 1764 in Richmond N.H.
d. Jan 26 1828 in Watertown N.Y. (Jefferson Cty) Married Martha Houston b. April 26 1769 Ackworth N.H. d. April 14 1841 im Brownville N.Y. (Jeff CTy)
They had the following children
1.Alexander
2.John
3.Wallace
4.Nancy
5.Houston
6.Cyrus
7.Betsy
8.Lucinda
9.Amanda
10.Almeda
11.James
It doesnt show the birth dates. It says that they came to the area in 1802 and that James was in company with his son Alexander making millstones used throughout the country. It also says they are buried in the Brownville Cemetary James and his wife Martha that is.
