I am looking for a possible death/burial record for Stephen Bookhout born ~1827 in NY state, son of Henry Bookhout/Buckhout. He is last seen as a 73 yr old Servant (laborer) in Wilna, Jefferson Cty, NY with Nelson Sheeley and family. He is very elusive and lived in Canada for many years but also worked in NY at various times. His wife was Phoebe Harrington, married in 1850 in Ontario, Cda, but they were not living together in later years. If anyone has any information on Stephen, I'd appreciate hearing from you.
