I am looking for information on my maternal grandfather's parents Clarence Lewis Branche born March 5, 1875 in the Evans Mills, NY area. His wife Mary Elizabeth "Molly" English Branche- born May, 16, 1879 also in the Evans Mills area. She was the daughter of Lizen English who was in the 91 NY Volunteers in the Civil War. I believe that he may have been a carpenter. My grandparents were contacted (by mail) in 1994 by a man by the name of Bourcey, who said that he had information reguarding the Branche family and was requesting some from them as well. They sent information, but never heard from the man again. I would be interested in finding more about this possible link as well. My maternal grandmother's grandmother was named Sarah Freeman. She was born in 1853 in Alexandria Bay, NY. I believe her to be the daughter of the Rev. Friend Freeman. Sarah moved at some point to Western NY and married Oliver Howlett.
