Town of Watertown 200th Birthday Celebration

October 14th 2000 from 10:00 am - 4:00 pm
Municipal Building Brookside Drive, Jefferson Co Watertown NY

Former Students and Teacher are asked to join the Town of Watertown Historical Society at 10:00 am for a ribbon cutting ceremony dedicating the District #6 Schoolhouse to former student and teacher Margaret Hanlon Wilson.

A Bicentennial picture pictorial Cancellation Stamp will be presented following the dedication by the Watertown Post Office at the Town of Watertown Municipal Building.

See Lots of displays on the Town of Watertown Early Settlers including, Pictures, Quilts, Antique, Items from Rexford Butter and Creamery, Flower Family Sled, Blacksmith, Weaving, Pottery, Burrville Cider Mill Press with cider and donuts.

Other activities include Blue Grass & Watertown High School Bands, Antique Cars & Trucks, Guided Tours Burrville Congregational Church and Brookside Cemetery, Food, Games, T-Shirts, door prizes and lots more.....

Fire Department Activities include Coloring contest and candy drop for children, Blood Pressure Screening, Watertown K-9 Unit, New York State Police Rollover Simulator, and fire truck display.
