With help from some very nice folks, I am slowly making progress with the
Birdsall families who evidently migrated to/from Otego/Butternuts in Otsego
county to/from Masonville in Delaware county.
Since the information now links back to Delaware county, I am looking for
the link between Andrew Birdsall, who after the Civil war was the head of
Fredericksburg National Park and
Charles Birdsall who married Sarah Van Valkenburgh, part of my family.

Here is what was sent to me, but I do not find the association between these
two men or their fathers. If they lived in each others house, most probably
they are related.

Any help in this area would be greatly appreciated. I have been writing
of all Soldiers and Sailors in my family and I would like to find if there
is a link to Andrew, nicknamed Drew.
