While we know we can't be any help looking for ancestors, we are writing in hope that you can help us. We are looking for my wife's Northrup line out of Walton, NY. We dead end with her grandfather Howard Northrup and his brother William Ray (Raymond?) and sister whose given name we don't know but she married an O'Dell or Odell. We know that W.R. owned a Radio/electronics store in Walton and little more than that. Only one relative is still alive from the previous generation and he is a little hazy. All written records were entrusted to my wife's stepmother, who is long gone. Any help locating descendants or connections to other Northrups would be welcome. I have a Family Tree Maker file with Northrups from a Joseph in England d1669, and forward to Albany County, but have drawn no connection to my wife's line.
