Joyce, There is a Benjamin Wilcox, age 83, enumerated in the Binghamton State Hospital in Binghamton township in Broome Co. on the 1900 census. He is listed as being a patient & married. No other info. This is a site with info. about the hospital: http://nysasylum.com/bia.htm Patients who died in the Binghamton State Hosp. may have been registered with the town/city of Binghamton.
