HI: Just saw your Querry about Capt. Charles Nute. From,the records I have his line is Capt. Charles(8),Obed Palmer(7),Obed(6),Obed(5),Elizabeth(4),Samuel(3),James(2),James(1)Nute. James(1) Nute came to Dover,NH in 1631. Capt. Charles Nute was in Civil War,Company H, 10th KY Cavalry. He was a farmer. He was b. Mar. 9,1823,Mt. Carmel,KY; d. May 31,1891,Mt. Carmel,KY; mar. March 2,1848,Malinda Ann Glasscock,b. Mar. 31,1825,Mt. Carmel,KY;d. Jan. 19,1904,Mt. Carmel ,KY,dau. of Newman A. Glasscock and Nancy Moore. He had children:Lucretia,Mary Delilah,Charles,Catherine Victoria,Louise Belle,&Obed Palmer. Louise Belle(9) b. Dec. 8,1860,Mt. Carmel ,KY;mar. Richard A. Bool. Charles's parents were Obed Palmer(7) Nute,b. May 1,1797,Stillwater,NY;d. Aug. 29,1869,Hemingsburg,KY;mar. Apr. 22,1822,Delia Foxworthy,b. May 6,1794,Mt. Carmel,KY;d. Nov. 18,1860,Flemingsburg,KY,dau. of Samuel Foxworthy. I have considerable data on all of the generations back to James(1)Nute,way more than I can send by posting here.
