Thank you really you ladies are incredible, on the death cert of Tomas senior he said his father was a carpenter, dont know if that is of any use, next week I shall get in touch with the Broken Hill hospital and see if they have any records from that time period and phone Willunga and find out if there is a marriage record for him and will let you know what I have found, need to find out his mothers name now really dont I before going any further, I believe Thomas might have emmigrated before his marriage in 1879 when he was 24yrs, so looking at immigration records around this time, so far I have been unable to track down these details, but a trip to the Library soon may rectify this, ooohh I have so much to do, thank you ladies so much for your help I really do appreciate it regards Sonia
