from "Printers and Printing in Providence, 1762 - 1907" prepared by a committee of Providence Typographical Union #33 as a souvenir of the 50th anniversary of its institution printed in 1907 "The Journeymen" pp. LXIII - LXIV. "GEORGE A. NOBLE - Died at East Side Hospital Oct. 12, 1903, aged 49 years, after undergoing a surgical operation. He was one of the proprietors of the What Cheer Printing Co.; in 1900 he was a member of the General Assembly from Barrington, of which town he was a resident at the time of death."
