I don't know if this is the person you are seeking, but I found an entry on page 5 in my reference book of Taos baptisms (1887-1900) that may be your grandmother. The surname spelling (Ruival) is different from the contemporary spelling (Roybal), but it is an alternative spelling that one finds in early records. The priests who entered the information often spelled the name as it sounded to them, which may or may not have been the way the family spelled the surname.
RUIVAL, Maria Clotilde, of Arroyo Hondo. Born on 8 Sep 1887. Bap on 17 Sep 1887. Daughter of Francisco RUIVAL and Maria Guadalupe de HERRERA. Godparents: Martin VIGIL and Mria Gabriela de Jesus MALDONADO. (Off: Jose Valezy). p. 9.
Note: This record is on page 9 of the original baptismal registry.
