In Calumet, MI, there was a Gideon NIEMI who was born in Finland in 1874 and emigrated to MI in 1890. Was he the husband of Johanna Erika MODIG, born 5 Nov 1881 in Koivukyla, Hietaniemi, Sweden? I have ancesters of Johanna's parents but need descendants with whom to share!
