I am looking for information on my grandfather Charles Nielsen and any descendants/ancestors. I do know that he was born in Copenhagen, Denmark Feb 22, 1892, was married and had two sons(spouse and son's names unknown). He came to Canada with his two sons. When he emmigrated to Canada, his name was changed to Neilson by one of the officials and so all of his children have adopted that particular name spelling. We do not know what happened to his first wife or if she even came to Canada with them. We beleive his two sons travelled and lived/live in the US. Charles then married Rose Brundle (born Dec 6, 1892 from England) and they lived & died in Nova Scotia. They had four (4) children together (June Rose, Mariann Joyce, Bernard Charles, Daphne Lorraine (my mother). If anyone has any information that may help me, I'd love to hear from them. Thanks...Deb
