My Grandparents--Frances L Nickerson b.1892 and J W Morris b.1880-1888? married in Pekin Illinois in 1918. Their children was born in the 1920's and were either given to private individuals or adopted out through various Children's Homes from Chicago, Peoria, or Southern Illinois. Their names were: Mary Frances, William, John Richard,and Robert. There was a Joshua, who I located in Chicago in 1994 and my mother who was their daughter. Someone sent me info on a census in 1920 listing J Weaver Morris and Frances in Chicago Ill.I know that J Weaver went to New York and passed away in the 1970's but I have no information on my Grandmother (Frances) where she went or when she died. Could someone please help me on locating the children and possibly what happened to my grandmother???
