So far this info comes from Betty Briggs and Ancestry.com: Reuben Cooper 1760 (JOHN4, JAMES3, ROBERT2, ROBERT1) was born Abt. 1760. He married ELIZABETH -------. She died 1832. Reuben Cooper 1760-1824 fought in the Revolutionary War with his older brother Charles Astley Cooper from 1775-1779 serving in Capt. Edward Garland's Co., 14th VA Regiment = 10th Regiment of the Revolutionary War, and served under Col. Lewis & Col Davies, Valley Forge. We need info on his 4th child Reuben W. Cooper b. ABT 1792 and wife Elizabeth (VanRansiller) b.24 Jan 1814 NH d. 20 June 1882 OH: Children of REUBEN COOPER 1760 and ELIZABETH (?)------- are: i. SARAH COOPER, m. ------ CARTER. ii. MATILDA COOPER, m. (1) ROBERT BUTLER; m. (2) JOHN DOBEY. iii.CAMPBELL COOPER, d. Russell Co., Ala.. iv. Reuben W. Cooper b.ABT 1792 had 12 kids, m. 3X, 3rd to Elizabeth VanRansiller 1814-1882 of New Hampshire, my great-great. Thanks for help, Kathy cj7700@raex.com
