My info say John Lewis Neyland b. 1812 Amite Co., MS. s/o Joshua & Anne Grubbs Neyland. Others have Joshua Louis Neyland b. 1812 Feliciana Parish, LA.( I believe Feliciana Parish to be right.) He came to Angelina Co., Texas abt. 1860, lived at Janesville near Huntington where he died in 1867. What was he real name ? He had a son Francis Harris Neyland married to Martha Sarah Treadwell d/o Stephen J. Treadwell and first wife, Faith Jordan. Francis died in Gonzalez in 1907. Martha died in Onalaska, Polk Co., TX. in 1929. The youngest son of Francis & Martha was Jasper Steve Neyland, born 1879 lived in Burke, Angelina Co., TX. 1930. He married Rosa Lee Butler at Apple Springs. Jasper died 1946 and Rosa in 1977, both in Angelina Co., TX. Steve & Rosa Children: Evie Neyland Frank George Neyland born at Helmic, Trinity Co., TX. in 1906. Leslie Steve Neyland b. 1909 d. 1991 Angelina Co., TX. L. Bena Neyland b. 1913 d. 1996 married Irma Mae Clark. They had a son Harold Neyland. Robert Clifton Neyland b. 1923 d. 1997 at Montgomery, TX. Anyone being a descendant of the above Neylands who are willing to help me with this family and descendants of Joshua & Anne Grubbs Neyland would be most appreciated.
