Bobby, I certainly will! IF I ever do find out anything. One thing I would like to add here that I did not put in my original post...In the case you do not know...1850 Choctaw Co., Alabama..enumeration number 181..
J.H. Nettles age 59 m planter SC
Elizabeth Nettles age 58 fe SC
Obviously, not the same J.H. Nettles of 1860 Grimes Co., Texas, but would you happen to know who the J.H. Nettles is on the Choctaw Co. 1850 Alabama would be?
Are you researching any Nettles in Benton Co., Alabama?
(Name of county has now changed) but an interesting notation of a letter from a Mary Ann Nettles of Benton Co., Alabama to a Mr. Vaughan of ??? Sumter District, SC??? trying to prove that her father served during the Revolutionary War..but at this time I am not certain if Nettles is a maiden name for her or possibly a married name.
You did not say how far along in your research you are, so I will pass along if I find out about the Choctaw Nettles. I just found out about the Choctaw Co., Alabama Gresham, thanks to the many volunteers that enter such infomation for the rest of us to use, so it is possible that I will find more.
Thank you for answering my post.
