Lendy: Melvin Clifford Nester, b 17 Nov 1927 Carroll Co, was a son of Wilbert Nester (b 17 Sep 1898 Carroll Co, d 23 Sep 1978) and Guida Gladys Nester (b 11 Jun 1906 Carroll Co, d 4 Apr 1995 Pinehurst, NC), who was dau of Lee Nester and Rachel Elizabeth Nester. Melvin m 12 Feb 1949 to Virginia Helen Garrett (b 6 Nov 1930, d 7 Nov 2000), dau of Bill Clarence Garrett and Ella Mae Craine. Melvin's son Allen Clifford Nester was b 20 Nov 1951 NY, and m 7 Feb 1975 Pittsylvania Co, Va to Donna Lee Rice, b 2 Mar 1955 Va, dau of Ted Cleveland Rice and Virginia Lee Talbard. I've included the above in my 800 page book on the Nester family, which is being published in May 2003 (next week). Mike Nestor
