You are looking for info on John Wesley McCoy
Born 18 April 1908 in Hastings, Adam, Nebraska
Died 01 March 1957 (where?)
Father Alvin Burton McCoy (name per family Bible)
Mother Emma Brady

Do you still want help finding him, Brenda? Or have you got that done? I'll wait to hear from you before proceeding.

For the moment I’ll add this information, below, about his family, in case it helps. From Find a Grave, an Alvin Bantley McCoy married to an Emma Brady. Note that this Alvin Bantley McCoy on Find-a-Grave has a brother named John Wesley McCoy. The middle name Bantley is not engraved on Alvin’s tombstone, so it could be that a family story or a death record could have a wrong middle name for him. Or maybe he had two middle names. Anyway, this sure looks like your family:

Alvin Bantley McCoy
Birth: 25 MAR 1869
Dallas City, Hancock County, Illinois, USA
Death: 11 OCT 1939
Dunning, Blaine, Nebraska, USA
Buried Dunning Cemetery, Dunning, Blaine, Nebraska

Married

Emma Alzada Brady
Birth: 21 MAY 1873
New Boston, Linn, Missouri, USA
Death: 14 MAR 1910
Hastings, Adams, Nebraska, USA
Buried Harmony Cemetery, Bladen, Webster, Nebraska

If this is a match, check Find a Grave at Harmony Cemetery in Bladen for other McCoys; others of this family are buried there.

Note from Find a Grave member who posted Emma‘s burial information:
“I have read & indexed all of the Blue Hill Leader, 1892-Present; Bladen Enterprise 1892-1926; Lawrence Locomotive 1892-1925 and Red Cloud Chief 1874-1878. These newspapers are all in & around south central, Nebraska. I do lookups. I use Newspaper Obits, Cemetery records, Funeral Home Records, Church Records and Family for my sources.”
