I have been trying to find out about my Grandmother Sophia Ingoborg Johnson who gave birth to a son named Albert born 8/13/1889 and died April 3, 1934 at the age of 35.

The obituary says that he lived in Boone for 18 years and then went west and made his home in Exeter where he worked for Bart Products co. for a year and for the past year he had his own Welding shop.

Our family have been trying to find out if my grandmother was raped or just gave birth to a son by someone she was going with at the time and maybe he would not marry her.
Albert was given the last name Peterson by Sophia's second Husband she married in 1905 Boone, Iowa.
It says that Mrs May Peterson was born in Exeter. Nebra.
Maybe this is why he was buried in Nebra. because she too must be buried there. BUT WHICH CEMETERY IN EXETER NEBRA.
He had 2 funerals
The first one was in Bartiesville, Oklahoma . then they took him to Exeter, Nebraska .
Anyway, it says on the obituary that he was taken to Exeter, Nebra. where another funeral service was given for him and he was buried .
Sophia Johnson, his mother may have given birth to Albert Peterson in boone, Iowa, but there is no record. So I assume that she was in Exeter and gave birth to Albert there.
Anyway, if I could just find out what cemetery in Exeter , Nebra. that He is buried and if his wife May is buried with him or not.
I wonder if there is any census that one Albert.
Sofia was abt 22 when Albert was born.
It says that Albert was active in the IOOF Lodge and was an active member of the Swedish Lutheran church.
If you can help me or at least point me in the right direction; I would appreciate it.
Thanks ,
