I am looking for information about my great-grandparents, Joseph C. Kendrick (born perhaps as early as the 1860's) and Sallie Roberts (Kendrick). They lived in Shelby,NC at one time and had a daughter,their youngest,named Ruby Pearl Kendrick, b. June 25,1904-1985 (who married Paul Peeler and moved to Alexandria,VA about 1935). They also had an older son named Clyde Kendrick and an older daughter possibly named Bessie. I do not have dates for Joe or Sallie,but Sallie may have been born in Ellenboro,NC. Joe was a policeman and disappeared around 1905. It would be so interesting to hear anything about them!
