You mentioned you had located George Riddle's gravesite. I would be interested in knowing where this is. Keep in mind I don't know the area so if I come back at you with another location question don't be surprised! I read in the Riddle Newsletter that Dixie had passed away. Is Bonnie still living? I would have liked to have met Dixie. I have no idea what any of the family looked like other than one picture I have of Oscar Riddle at his wife's funeral in December 1970. I never met Oscar either even though he was my grandfather. I did run across a listing in Yancey County for a Jessie Riddle born June 16, 1913 and died October 10, 1914 with parents listed as George and Lula Boone Riddle. I had only Oscar, Georgia, Bonnie, Dixie, and James listed as children of George Riddle. Had you heard of Jessie? I can give you that website info if you want it. |
