I see no one has replied to your post about Job Wilson. I have looked through the 1850 Yancey census and the ones I've copied from the 1850 Clay Co KY census and cannot find Job listed in either. I am positive, however, that you are going to find he was a grandson of Adoniram Allen, Jr. and wife, Lucinda Riddle who lived in Yancey Co and died there during the early 1840's. They had daughters who married men named Wilson and they moved to Clay Co KY before, or during, 1850's. I know that Job is the son of one of these daughters -- just don't know which daughter. Jane Allen married Thomas Wilson. Her sister, Nancy, also married a Wilson, but I don't know his given name. One of these couples is Job's parents. I can't find my 1860 census for Clay Co tonight, but will try to find and get back to you later. The name, by the way, is definitely Job. There are many men named Job in this Allen family going back several generations. Adoniram Allen, Jr. was a s/o Adoniram, Sr. b 1734 NH near the VT line, died 1838 Clay Co KY. Adoniram, Sr. was s/o David Allen b c1714, whom I feel was a s/o Edward Allen and Sarah Kimball from Ipswitch, MA to NJ, but others think otherwise. I can find no proof either way. I hope this helps you in your search for ancestors.
e-mail me -- I have alot of Adoniram Allen info I can share.
