I've been researching the family of my GGgrandfather Littleton Freeman. According to the 1860 Yancey Co. Census, he lived on Fork Mountain along with a Samuel Freeman (age 73), Samuel Freeman age 30 (?), and a John Freeman age 30. If you have any information on these folks I'd appreciate sharing what I have with you. Also, if anyone knows where Samuel (age 73) was buried I'd appreciate knowing that. Littleton had two sons, Waitsill and Cain. I descend from Cain Freeman through Earl Freeman of Little Rock Creek. Thanks in advance for any help you can give on this.
