I am trying to find any information on an Arsemus (not sure of exact spelling) who was the brother of Bryson Hensley killed by Banks in 1920 at Jacks Creek. Arsemus may have also used the name Robert Carter. This is very unclear due to the name being used in the family Bible as Robert Carter with Arsemus in paranthesis above it. The father's name was listed as Jasper and mother L.Crain. This info comes from a Bible and not from census or any official records. I am starting to research this line of Hensley's. This would be my husband's grandfather(arsemus). My husband's father was named Bernard Monroe Hensley raised in Yancey Co. Any information would be appreciated. Lynn Hensley Tweetylh109@AOL.com |
