I am looking to find information on my cousin James Vanzant born 1784 in Rutherford County, North Carolina to my fifth great-aunt Mary SMITH Vanzant & fifth great-uncle Garrett Vanzant Jr., he married Polly Cook (probably a nick-name for Mary) 17 April 1806 Adair County, Kentucky. He & Polly appear in the 1810 census for Adair County with one son under 10, for the females there is one under 10; two 16 through 25 & one 45 & over so I am assuming a sister & her mother live with them. After the 1810 census they seem to become lost to time. Thank you for any aid in finding my cousin James & his family. Sincerely, Lena
