Green Berry MORTON was married and on the 1830 Census for Richmond County, NC. He was born abt. 1804 ( supposedly in NC, but not for sure. He married Winnifred C. Ussery, daughter of Robert Ussery and Mary Chaires. Before 1840, he and his in-laws, the Robert Ussery family, moved to Randolph Co., AL, then he was in the 1870 Census for Perry Co., AL. I have been told that his father was in Cleburne Co., AL, and died there, leaving some young children in the care of Green B. Morton. I've not been able to get the proof of this, but I've been told that it is on record in the State Archives in Montgomery, AL.
