I have a genealogy report done in 1930's by Frances Porter that mentioned Thomas James in Pitt Co. My great aunt, Rillie James Gardne, reports to me that Thomas James, a relative of my James ancestors in Pitt Co. owned land between Pactolus and Bethel. That was all she knew If you would like a copy of this James Genealogy done by F. Porter, I will be glad to send you a copy. Patsy J. Evans
