Here's a little more information for you!
I descend from Walter Dixon, Sr. who Seth Pilkington, deeded land to in the aforementioned land deed.
Walter Dixon, Sr., married second to Elizabeth Pilkington, after 1703. She was born abt. 1681, and her death is unknown. Walter Dixon, Sr. died after 1767 in Pitt Co., NC.
In 1764, Walter Dixon, Sr., sold 160 acres in Pitt Co., NC for 12 pounds to Charles Tindale, being patented to SETH PILKINGTON in 1738 witnessed by John Munden.
On December 14, 1768, Winnifred Wilson, of Beaufort Co., NC (daughter of SETH PILKINGTON), sold to Walter Dixon, Jr. and William Baldwin, Jr. (Walter's brother -in law), executors of the estate of Walter Dixon, Sr., deceased, 320 acres for 13 pounds, being part of a patent to Seth Pilkington in 1738.
