Joseph Wells, Sr. left a will in Orange Co, NC in Book D Page 140. That listed these childern: 1.William Wells; John Wells, Joseph [coluld he be mine? b. ca 1756-84] ;Nathan; Isaac; and daughters: Margaret Gifford; Charity McDaniels; Mary A, Jamison;Rachel Underwood; gd dau : daau of Jesse Wells, deceased. An Elizabeth Wells , no relation ship mentioned. Could this be the fathe of my Joseph Wells, b. ca. 1765-84 in NC caame to Warren Co, Ky by 1810 , he was listed with 9 children. 1820 Warren Co, Ky census list Joseph wells with 8 children. . in 1823 My Joseph Wells died in Warren Co, Ky . Leaving a will listing wife : Sarah ? and 11 children , my Joseph being one of them. Would like to hear from other Wells researchers of this line. Arvilla....Ky
