Holt-Shoffner migration So far, I have drawn up this list of who was and wasn't on the 1806 wagon train from Orange NC to Tennessee. Yes: Martin Shoffner, wife Catherine Rountree Cook and children Peggy (pregnant with William + husband Philip Isaac Burrow and 4 children: Katie, Nimrod, Jarrell, Martin Harvey), Turley (+ husband Adam Euless and 2 children:Sallie, Allen), Christopher, Eva, Frederick, Polly, Sally, Austin and Lizzie; Peter Lee Shoffner, wife Delilah Henderson, son Willie and maybe 2 daughters (who died at some point); Joshua Holt + wife Eleanor Cain Burrow and child: Jordan Cain Jarrell Burrow + wife Eleanor Nealy Cain and children: Eleanor Cain (wife of Joshua Holt), Phillip Isaac (husband of Peggy Shoffner) No: George Shoffner, Mary Magdalena (Molly) Shoffner, Frederic Shoffner, Caty Lattimore Shoffner (Peter Lee’s oldest child mar. to Jacob Coble) If anyone knows of others who were on this wagon train, pls let me know, as I am writing a genealogy of Michael Shoffner.
