Ah, yes, you are talking about the family of Luther Gornto & Kate Simpson. My uncle, Roland Taylor, was married to Opal's sister Jessie Orland Gornto. The other children were Cecil, Thelma, Beryl, Lucille, Coral, & Minnie, I believe. One of them was called Little Bud. They were great fun & Jessie, Carol, & Lucille were as like as peas in a pod. I never knew which one was my Aunt Jessie unless I had all three of them together. Luther was the son of Nathan Gornto but I cannot trace them all the way back b/c nearly everyone was named John or David & I cannot sort them out. I do know that I am a descendant of John Gornto & Sarah Lee who died in the late 1700's.
When the last of the sisters died, one of the heirs gave me a box of pictures they could not identify but I could only id a few of them. I wish I could show them to you. Maybe you would know who some of them are.
