Buly Bottoms married William Baker (Jr) on 8 Sep 1788 in Nash Co NC.

12 Nov 1844 – “. . . German D. Langley a resident of the County of Nash . . . Sayeth that he is about Twenty (Eight?) years old and that his parents died when he was a child and that William Baker the husband of Buly Baker Raised him . . . declares that the oldest Child of the Said William & Buly Baker is not less than fifty five years old . . .” (German D. Langley, 28 in 1844, born 1816) (Charity Baker, 55 or more in 1844, born in or before 1789) “. . . 12th day of November 1844 before me Nelson Bone . . .”

Note above: Charity Baker was born in or before 1789.

8 May 1845 - “. . . Nash County On this 8th day of May 1845 personally appeared before Nelson Bone one of the acting Justices of the peace for the County Elizabeth Langley . . . She is about Seventy Seven years Old . . . this attached peace (piece) of paper Contains the age of hir (her) oldest Child William Langley and that the name of Charity Langley on the same peace (piece) is the oldest Child of William & Buly Baker that hir Sun (her Son) William married Charity Baker . . .” (Elizabeth Langley, about 77 in 1845, born about 1768)

20 Oct 1852 - (Duncan Baker, aged 60, resides in Nash County, son of William Baker revolutionary soldier in the State of North Carolina who died on 8 June 1842; his mother Buly Bottoms married William Baker on 8 Sep 1788; she died 7 June 1846; both residents of Nash County; signed, sealed, acknowledged, sworn and certified on 20 Oct 1852.) (60 in 1852, born in 1792)
