I am looking for any information on ancestry regarding James L. Webb Sr family and his wife, Sarah Darcas Pittman. James Louis Webb b 1891 in North Carolina. He married Sarah Darcas Pittman b 1899 in Edgecombe count, North Carolina. James died sometime after 1951 in North Carolina and Sarah died 1973 in Rocky Mount, Nash county, North Carolina. Children; James L. Webb Jr b 2/17/1925, Nash County, NC Mildred Webb. b abt. 1927 NC Lee Roy Webb. b. 12/28/ 1928. (Family documents state 12/28/1927) Helen Y. Webb b 6/16/1941 in Rocky Mount, Nash County, NC Betty Webb b after 1941? Sarah D. Pittman may have been married to an Odie Turner prior to marriage to James L. Webb Sr., with two children born to Turner marriage. Any information on this Webb/Pittman family would be greatly appreciated. |
