In the Name of God Amen. I WILLIAM VESTER of the county of Nash and State of North Carolina being in a low state of health but of sound mind do make and establish this to be my last will in the manner and form following.
Item: I give and bequeath to my daughter DINAH ETHRIDGE, one bed and furniture.
Item: I give and bequeath to my son JOSEPH all the rest and residue of my estate of all kinds whatsoever both real and personal after the payment of my debts.
Item: My will is if my son dies before he hath an heir or arrives to the years of twenty one that in that case the property that I have given him shall be equally divided between my son WILLIAM VESTERS heirs and CORNELIAS BRUCES heirs.
Item: I constitute and appoint GEORGE BODDIE exr. of this my last will. I pronounce this to be my last will and no other in the presents of us, January 12th, day 1804.
February Term 1804
The foregoing will was duly proven in open court by the oath of ABIJAH PRIDGEN a subscribing witness thereto and on motion ordered to be recorded, and is recorded in obedience to the above order.
